Empower. Inspire. Elevate: How We Rise Together | Happy International Women's Day

Happy International Women's Day & Women's History Month Ladies.

I know this is known but its often forgotten; Women are powerhouses. We are the nurturers, the warriors, the visionaries, and the dreamers in this experience we call life. But what makes us even stronger? The times and moments when we empower, inspire, and elevate each other.

In honor of International Women’s Day 2025, let’s take a look at women in history and faith who have paved the way for us—and how we can continue their legacy today.

Women Who Inspired Change:

  • Esther: A queen who risked her life to save her people. (Esther 4:14)
  • Deborah: A judge and military leader who led Israel to victory. (Judges 4-5)
  • Ruth: A loyal woman who showed unwavering faith and commitment.
  • Harriet Tubman: A fearless woman who led hundreds to freedom.
  • Michelle Obama: An advocate for education, women’s empowerment, and leadership.
  • And many many more........

International Women’s Day is a time to reflect on the power of women throughout history—from the Bible, history books and the women in our current day today. This year’s theme, Empower, Inspire, Elevate, reminds us that when women step into their purpose, they create waves of change.

3 Ways to Live Out This Theme:

Empower with Encouragement – Speak life into another woman today.

Example: Michelle Obama’s mentorship programs have lifted thousands of young women into leadership.

Inspire by Living Boldly – Your obedience to God’s calling might be the push another woman needs to step into hers.

Example: Malala Yousafzai’s courage in advocating for girls’ education despite threats to her life.

Elevate Others as You Grow – A true leader doesn’t rise alone.

Example: Serena Williams mentoring young women in sports and business.

Answer the call to activism: Standing up for humanity and creation for a better world

Example: Wangari Maathai – First African woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize, empowering women through environmental activism.

✨ Your Reminder Today: You were created for such a time as this. Step into it boldly.

Here are some ways We Can Empower Women Today as we live boldly in our callings and life's purpose

  • Speak life over another woman—affirm her worth.
  • Support women-owned businesses and initiatives.
  • Be a mentor or encourager to the next generation.
  • Share your testimony—your story can inspire someone’s breakthrough.

A simple reminder:

A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle. Let’s be women who build, encourage, and elevate others—today and always.
